New Hampshire Resource Conservation Corps
The New Hampshire Resource Conservation Corps (NHRCC) is an AmeriCorps program where Members serve 900- or 1700-hour, year-long terms at Host Sites throughout New Hampshire. In exchange for a year of service, Members receive a living stipend and education award. They work on natural resource projects and issues including:
- Natural resource inventories
- Volunteer water quality monitoring
- Wildlife and habitat improvement
- Trails design, building, and maintenance
- Natural resource adult and student education
- Natural resource community planning
- Land conservation
- Agricultural planning, promotion, training, and support
